the Video Catalog

Videux is a powerful tool for stock videographers and people with large video libraries. It is a sleek video player complete with powerful playlist functionality. It is an organizer, helping you tackle thousands or tens of thousands of videos with ease. It can keep track of things like model releases, license agreements, metadata and keywords, making it easy to see at a glance the state of your video library. Integration with Final Cut Pro X and Premiere Pro makes your workflow faster and easier.

Today we are pleased to announce the immediate availability of Videux version 1.2. This free upgrade is packed with new features and functionality: transcoding, proxies, keywords enhancements, in/out points, markers and more!

If you’ve ever used Adobe’s Lightroom for stills, Videux offers similar functionality for video files: you can ingest and catalogue your footage, assigning star ratings and keyword metadata to make sure it’s searchable (and crucially, findable) in the future.

Videux is driven by you, the videographer. To that end, we need your feedback. Join us on our forum and let us know what you think of the app and what else you want it to be able to do.
